Britney Spears' cover of the Rolling Stones (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction was pretty horrific, don't forget.

Runner-up---Noted teabag Manfred Mann castrating Springsteen's "Blinded By The Light."

Winner: William Shattner butchering Bob Dylan's "Mr Tambourine Man." Captain Kirk's rug is more credible. Truly, where no man has gone before.

The worst cover is The Cardigans doing Mr Crowley. I had an Ozzy fan literally throw the headphones off his head.

One of my favorites is Tom Jones and The Cardigans doing the Talking Head's Burning Down The House.

Another honorable mention is A Perfect Circle doing Ozzy's Diary of a Madman. They are singing it while playing the Cure's Love Song.

Hell she butchered a classic AC/DC tune but even better was Sheryl Crows cover of Sweet Child o' Mine on the Big Daddy soundtrack. God even Metallica did a great job with the Ramone's 53rd and 3rd. and Velvet Revolver doing Pink Floyds Money for the Italian Job soundtrack was great. Celine Dion should stay away from the hard rock and stick to her sappy romance and pop tunes.

How about Dave Matthews' All along the Watchtower? or Queensryche's Welcome to the Machine?

Up there as worst cover has to be DMB version of All Along the Watchtower....way slow and sucks. Don't get me wrong, I like DMB.. just not that cover.

If you can find it...Julio Iglesias (compeletly butchered the spelling of his name) did a cover of the Doors, "Light my Fire"...holy crap horrible.

As much as Celine covering Ac/Dc is just wrong. I still think Sheryl Crow's version of Sweet Child of Mine is right up there in the top 3 worse covers of all time. I work in a grocery store and hear it way too much!

A buddy of mine once said that Korn's Another Brick in the Wall was better than the original.
I totally disagree, Brick in the Wall is not meant to be metal
